Samy is a strong character. She is very sure of herself and very direct, but also very sweet and Lovely.
Samy demonstrates in her answers that she is fully aware of her ethnic mix and double origin. She is actually in full control.
As most kids in her age she shows strong loyalty to both her parents, none of them are favoured. She also makes a point that the truth is important.
She is proud of being mixed though she indirectly saying that she is beautiful and she only sees advantages and no disadvantages with being mixed.

Also note that food is important in Samy's life, as it is in most Malaysians. Right?

Isn’t that inspiring? !!

  • Highly intellectual for a 7 year old. It is good to instill values of mixed cultural backgrounds in a 'mixed' child. This is to ensure that they do not forget their roots ... NOT root. In fact, I consider them very lucky because they are born to parents from different ethnicity and culture.

I think my son is very lucky too. He can understands Hokkien, Cantonese, English and Finnish languages and he's just 1.5 yrs old.

  • Generally, mixed child are good-looking. If they know that they are beautiful, they are actually proud of their backgroud.

I think it is nice to spend some time with children because they can remind us about being a child again, being imaginative, being free and happy. We were a kid before too and lost the children fundamental hehe on the process of growing up. We are then bounded by stress, wealth, work, study and etc.

I do read some works on meditation, yoga, spiritual books and etc. After reading them, somehow I think those concept is based on a child fundamental..being happy, free, follow your heart and etc.
